Li<|uor and cigarettes to the valin of £4O were' stolen by thrives win broke into the warehouse of \V. 0. Dobson and Co., Taranaki Street, on Saturday night. The burglary occurred between 9 and II p.m., tile thieve,s apparently gaining admission through smashing in a hack door. They loaded the stolen goods into some dorm ol light motor vehicle, and drove oft with them. Shortly before midnight, last night, detectives spoke to a number el men in a taxi in Cuba Street; and after <|iiestioning them further, sen relied a room in a house in Ghuznee Street. To-day, two of the men, Reginald Bloomfield and George Ferguson were charged at the Magistrate’s Court with robbery, and remanded until June 22. The value of stolen goodwas stated to be £."17 lbs 2d. Bail was refused.
