QUEENSLAND BEATEN. (Australian Press Association.) BRISBANE, June 13. The English Rugby League team yesterday met Queens.and Here. Playing a wonderful tenacious game, England, despite their loss of Thomson early in the match from concussion, aid of Horton in the second half, deleaiteu Queensland oy fifteen points to ten.
The English try-getters were Broaden, Featham and Adains, who scored one try each, while Hodgson kicked three goals.
For Queensland Upton and Madsen scored tries, and Upton and Laws kicked one goal each. The match was played on election day before a crowd of fourteen thousand. At one time only three of the visiting forwards were in the scrum. Gee played a tine game for Queensland.
