PIGEON FLYING
SUPREME CLUB HOLDS RACE. On Sunday morning, conditions being ideal, with a slight easterly wind prevailing, the Supreme Fi’-ying Club held its second successful' race for the “Pounter Cup” from Har.'.hari, a distance of approximately 50 inUes. Mr D. Moynahan’s “Torpedo” was successful in winning out of the 22 birds which took part in the race. H. Andrews’ “Sure Thing” again gained second place.
Considering the conditions, the time was very poor, -although there was not much difference between the birds. .The result of the race was as follows: D. Moynahan'-s “Torpedo' 1, H Andrews’ “Sure Thing” 2, J. Lawn’s "Silver King' 1 3. Also -started; 4. Andrews, H, Pierson, G. Kerr, 0. Laing, A. Laing, N. Samson, W. Dwan, W. Parker, T. Henderson, W. Johnson, M. Dwan, W. Schroeder, G- Wormington, 0. Dwan.
