SURPLUS OVER £10,000,000.

RUGBY, June G. The commercial accounts of the Post Office, for last year show a surplus on the postal service of £10,823,000; also a surplus on telephones of £576,000. The deficit of the telegraph department was reduced by £1*86,000, compared with the previous year’s deficit, which was £S28,00(). The total surplus was £10,555,000.
