A journey of 1 I,;,(!() miles in eook a dinner for her bachelor tanner soil ended in .Melbourne yesterday when Mr..s A. S. Thomson, arrived from Aberde: n in the Jervis Bay.
“Ever since my boy took up a farm on Ids own a year ago, I have been worried out of my mind about his mealrij'’ she said. “I know what (toys are when they bach, so J just had to come out and cook him a real dinner.”
Mrs Thomson explained that her husband Professor Thomson, who accompanied her, was before his retirement a Professor of Classics at Aberdeen Cniversitv.
