SENTENCES ON PRISONERS

NEW PLYMOUTH. June 6
Alex Nelson Jackson, who .pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault on young children, was sentenced to-day by Justice Blair, in the Supreme Court, to reformative detention for a period cf not more than two years on each charge sentences to be concurrent. Arthur Jed ward Hancock, who pleaded guilty to four charges of breaking and entering theft, escaping from custody and theft, was sentenced to informative detention for a period not exceeding two years on the burglary charge?, and detention for six months on the charge of escaping, the sentences -to lie"concurrent.
