THE WESTLAND SUB-UNION

The Westland Rugby Sub-Union met last evening. Present: .Messrs J. Stafford (chairman)- D. R. Doweli, A. 11. Lawn, F. Freitas, R. Bell, A. C'vtbush, J. Cooper, W. Stopforth, R. McDonald and J. McCleary. The minutes of the prev'-ous meeting were confirmed and the outward correspondence approved. Accounts amounting to £1 6s were passed for payment. The following draw for Saturday was ' approved:—

■Seniors: Kiwi- v. Riinu, at Ca, s Square (E. W. Keenan) ; Excei ior v.. Ross, at Cjss .Square (A. Cutbush); Rivals a bye.

Juniors: School ■v. Kiwi, at Hokitika at 1.30 p.m. (D. Heenan) ; Kokatahi v. Rimu at Rvmu,> -at 3 p.m. (J. Bannister) ; Ross v;. Excelsior, at Ross, at 3 p.m. (D. Head). It was decided to procure twenty referees’ hand books.
