Lord Rosebery’s Miracle 3. There were twenty-one starters. Won by three-quarters of a length arid a short head. Lughon and Sunny Borough wer e scratched. ! Oockpen, Bacchus and Miracle were prominent at the startafter which Portofiuo drew ahead and led down the hill, from Firdaussi, Miracle-Spenc-er, and Dastur. Portofin© was 'still ahead at Tottenham Corner, but a quarter mile from home .he dropped back beaten and Dastur forged , ahead. April V came with a strong run over the last fqn’ong and overhauled .Do,star in a great race. Royal Dancer was fourth, and Firdaussi fifth. Orwell war always prominent, but ran disappointingly and never endangered the leaders, lilld finished about ninth,••. •
