The Council of the Chamber of Commerce this evening passed a resolution expressing the opinion that only the Minister of Finance, the. Comptroller of'Customs and the Secretary to the Treasury should be sent to- the Empire Economic Conference at Ottawa, and that -the Prime Minister and the Minliter of Employment should stand by jtheir jobs. The Council deprecated the recogni* I tion that was apparently being given ’to’ sectional interests in connection ' with the conference.
