MORTGAGE RELIEF CASES

Regulation* fixing the maximum fees chargeable by .against clients in respect of procedings under the Mortgagors’ Relief Act or proceedings in connection with interest and rent.reductions under the recent legislation are published in the ‘ Gazette.’'
For proceedings on application to the Supreme Court, including procedings ill the same matter of reference to an adjustment commission, the maximum is to he £5 os, plus disbursements, ii any. E.or proceedings on application to tile-same matter on reference to an adjustment, commission, the charge may be up to £2 2s, and the miximum is fixed similarly in respect to application to an adjustment commission under til© mortgagors’ relief legislation.
Li any case wherein the opinion oi the Court: or Magistrate the maximum. pregcribiiijjl above is inadequate, an,-additional f§b not exceeding £5 oft may: be allowed where the proceedings are taken to the Supreme Court, or not exceeding £2 2s additional for .Magistrate’s Court proceedings.- •
