SALVAGE STARTED
GOLD AND SUNKEN LINER.

LONDON, May 30
Aboard the Italian salvage ship, “Artiglio”, the divers have restarted salvaging the, “Egypt’s” bullion. They have removed nearly the whole of the roof of the bullion, room, and have begun bringing the 'contents to the surface.
No gold or silver has yet been recovered as the boxes of bullion are covered by broken wood and other debris, but one of the -divers caught the first glimpse, of the boxes of gold, which are piled in tiers inside the room. As the bullion room is between the baggage rooms under the first class saloon, the divers grab is raising a curious assortment of lost property, including one, rusty and broken cashbox, 'containing a dozen mixed coins, 1,,-ideil .winner automatic pistol, a set of golf clubs, a battered silver sauce-boat, and a pair of grey woollen
