Although tho United States will naturaly watch with interest any international discuss ions on trade, tihe.ie was no indication here on Sunday’ that tho Government will enter into any such discussions in connection with the Lausanne Reparations Gonfoacnee, which is proposed, by Prime Minister MacDonald. This . country’s position lias been that it is for Europe itself to consider the reparations, and these is nothing to indicate- that any broadening of the Lausanne Conference., as Mr MacDonald has proposed, would modify that position.
