BOWLING
NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. HEADQUARTERS TRANSFERRED. WELLINGTON, May 28. The question of appointing New Zealand’s second representative on the. International Bowling Board was cousideied at the last meeting of the council of the New Zealand Bowling Association. The namjes of Sir Thomas Wil'ord, High Commissioner, aiid Mr L. G. Spencer, a member of the Mount Eden Club, who recently Jolt for England, were considered. Lt was -resolved to communicate with Air Ivor B. Thomas requesting him to get in touch with the High Commissioner and Mr Spencer, and ascertain if either of gentlemen would accept the position on behalf of the New Zealand Bowling Association.
Tile secretary reported that eleven nominations had been received from the South Island and eight from theNorth Island as members of tile council. As only seven members are required for each island an election will be uecessarv. Air J. Kershaw lias been nominated as honorary tieusurcr.
