CHICAGO, May 28

Edward Swift, 68 (years of age, the Chairman of the Directorate of the Swift Packing interests here, and a son of the founder, fell to his death from his home, a- sixth-floor apartment house, in Chicago, to-day. It is not known if his fall were accidental or was a case of suicide.

Swift’s associates insist that he was not involved in any financial difficulties, either personally or in connection with the business. When last seen lie was jn the best in spirits.
