NEW YORK, May 28

The United States has lost roughly one hundred million dollars worth of monetary gold during the past ten days. This-is the largest gold outflow since last autumn, when the British lapse from the gold st.anda.rd sekvt other European Central Banks scampering for the metal. Bankers express the view that the United States should reconcile itself to a considerable further outflow cf gold during the next few weeks. The foreign Central Bank balances here are estimated to be around lour hundred million dollars. Those banks appear determined to take their funds home.
