NAPIER, May 27
John Lewis, for forgery, was sentenced to eighteen months’, the term, to be concurrent with a previous sentence; Francis Just, breaking and entering, two years’ hard labour; Lionel Bernard Just, a brother, breaking and entering, two years’ Borstal; a native, Hirini Tiliema, breaking and entering, twelve months’ hard labour; Hany Hampton, breaking and entering, probation etxended for a further two yea rs’.
TARANAKI SENTENCES. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 27. At the Supreme Court sentences were passed as follows: — Ernest John Kent to six months’ hard labour lor forgery. John Francis Johns, to twelve months’ hard labour for bigamy. ErnesL Keith Roberts, rol'qrmativo detention not exceeding twelve months’for the theft, as a servant, of £212.
