WELLINGTON, May 27
Owing to the depression, the income of the Bishop of Wellington, lit. Rev. Hr. T. H. Sprott, has fallen 43 per cent, below the allocation directed by th e Synod in 1930 under the Bishopric Endowment Act. A report made to the Diocesan Synod to-day said: “We notice with regret, that the income from the Bishopric Estate lias shown a serioun decrease. In view of the recent legislation it may be even more serious next year.” x The report was received.
