A GERMAN DESPERADO. LONDON, May 12. A sixteen-yearold youth, Ernst Waldow, has confessed to the brutal murder of an aged couple for whom he had done odd jobs, says the Berlin correspondent of “The Times.” Entering the lious e with an axe, Waldow made a violent attack on the woman and killed her. He then attacked the husband arid felled him with a blow which killed him. When confronted with his accomplices, Waldow admitted that they had planned to waylay a film actress, Miss Lillian Harvey, armed with revolvers. They had made a sketch plan of her house and had fixed a robbery for the evening of the day on which the double murder was committed. Instead of carrying this plan out Waldow sought refuge in a youths’ hostel, where he was arrested. Miss Harvey states that, as she always keeps a loaded revolver handy, the young bandits would have "had a surprise.
