MEETLvJ OF DELEGATES

AUCKLAND, May 2G.

After an all day sitting of the coal miners’ delegates yesterday, when the deadlock in negotiations between them and the northern coalmine owners were dismissed, it was announced that the delegates would return to their branches, and convene meetings as soon as possible. The owners stated on Monday that if the Hikurangi men did not return to work, the conditions of work proposed by the owners would he put into effect at the Waikato mines on .Juno 4th.
