PRICES EASIER.

CHRISTCHURCH, May 25. Prices of live stock, .except pigs, showed a further easing to-day at Addington sale. . P t There was a larger yarding - cattle. The requirements were overloaded. Onlv a small percentage was Of o-ood quality, the entry mostly being dairy culls and other cattle slipping hack in condition. The market easier. It was a dragging sale. i»e best heavy bullocks sold, to £l2 7 s 6d, prime £7 15s to £8 ss, medium £5 5s to £6 2s 6d, light from £3. Best heifers sold,to £7 17s 6d, prime £4 '6s to;£o 12s 6d, light from £3 2s £d. I J prime cows sold from £5 <s 6d to £0 17s 6d, prime £4 to £5 2s 6d, medium £2 ss,’ inferior from 22s 6d. There was a medium entry of store sheep, the yarding being mostly lambs, and largely backward lots. Only the attractive lots created any attention It was a dragging sale. ' There was a smaller offering of at lambs, mostly unfinished lots, and. the market was easier at redpeed schedule rates Best heavy lambs sold to 18s Id, prime 15s 6d to 17s 6d, medium 12s to 15s light 9s 6d to 11s 6d. There was a. full yarding of mutton, mostly of ewes, with a small percentage of first Brad ’ lots. The market was easier. Tlmre was only a medium yarding of fat pigs. AIP lots showed a slight advance. Porkers sold from 22s 6d to 28s 6d. heavy 20s to 36s 6d, choppers £9 to £4 6s. baconors 3 T s 6d to £2 5s 6d, lieavv 49s 6d to 54s 6d. extra heavy to £2 19s Gd. " 'r Store piars sold at late rates.
