WESTLAND SUB-UNION. iSEV'EN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

The Westland Rugby Sub-UuUm met last evening, when there were present Messrs J, Stafford {chairman), A. H. Lawn, F.. McGregor, J. A. Cooper, W. (Stop forth, R. Bell, R. McDonald, A. Cut bush, F Freitas, J. McClenry, MeCallum and E. W. Hoenan (secretary). The Borough Council .wrote granting the Sub-Union permission to use Cass Square on June ord, and to ch-aige loi admission. In connection with ibe seven-a-uide tournament, a motion to include the entry of a Maori team, and the grunting of permission to a member of R’mu Club to play for that team was defeated.*' It was decided that the Sub'-Un’on seven-a-side tournament be open to a 1 teams in the Sub-Unions district, and ,-to call nominations for the following grades:—'Senior, junior, third grade, shrimps and bantam, closing next Monday evening. . .
