A message from Milwaukee states that Mr Norman Thomas, of New York 'ha,s been nominated as the Socialist Candidate for President of the United States.

His campaign, Mr Thomas to’d the 'Socialist National Convention at Milwaukee, would be a relentless war against the Republican and Democratic Parties, and against “The Kingdom of Poverty.’’ Mr James Maurer, of Pennsylvania, who has for sixteen years been President of the 'State Federation of Labour, has been named ns tho Party's candidate for Vice-President.
