INVERCARGILL, .May 18.
At the meeting of the Southland Section of the Lost and Telegraph Officers’ Association this evening, the following resolution waif carried • "Thu South* hind Section of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association deplore the Gov* eminent's action in. characterises its members as disloyal, whereas loyalty and responsible citizenship are our first and foremost considerations. “We assure the business cominunity that organised coercion is not part of our policy, and that their pathiea, and notv their animosity -Jisitrii? required in furtherance of our salary grievances and other proposals for trie economic benefit of the community, as well as ourselves.
“As our association, is nan-political,’ and is not responsible for individual action ot opinions, we ask that the' recent restrictions be removed, so that our constructive efforts may be continued without hindrance.”
