“I went to the Yukon thirty-f ur years ago to seek my fortune, and 1 am still looking for it,” said- Mr G. 0. M’Gregor, of Granville, near Dawson City, who arrived by the Niagara yes-tu-dav on his way to visit his birthplace in New South Wales. 1' nun the twinkle in bis.eye, however, it seemed that fortune had not been, as elusive as his words'implied. “I have met a -number o'' New Zealanders out there,” said Mr M’Gregcr. “One of them is Jimmy Wilson. He conies from the South Island. He used to be a. member of tile Yukon Council, and lias a place between Granville and Dawson. Yukon is the finest place in the world for a young man with a hit of money. Ooportini’ty is boundless.”
