ROBBERY CHARGE

AUCKLAND, May 17,
Two men arrived, under police escort, by the liner Marama from Sydney this afternoon. Later they appeared before Mr Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court.. The men, who were brought from Sydney by Chief Detective Hammond, were Reginald Clarence William's, alias Reader, aged 36 years; and Clifford Spencer Dahlin, aged 31 years. Both 'were charged with stealing £I2OO from George Montague Poyner, at Wharigarei, on August 21ist. last.
The accused were remanded to appear at Whangarei on Tuesday. Williams was arrested at Brisbane and 'Dahlin at Casino, 300 miles from Sydney.
