The Earl of Egmont and his son, aged eighteen, have lived simply in Avon Castle since they arrived from their Calgary ranch in 1929. The Earl became a market gardener, drove his produce to the nearest markets, and sold it for cash.--.
He kept several outdoor hands but n d indoor' servants, father and son ,do’ing their own housework ill tv mansion of forty-throe rooms.
