BOMB OUTRAGE IN JAPAN

The' city was thrown into profound excitement when is was learned that simultanous bomb attacks were made on five places by small groups dressed in naval and military uniforms. The bombs were thrown at the metropolitan police headquarters, the Premiers official' residence, the headquarters of the •Seryukai. Party, and the bank of ''J a pan.

The most .serious was that at (he Premier's residence where 'lnukai was wounded critically. A man in a naval

uniform tired a revolver, hitting the Premier twice in ’the head while an accomplice outside threw a bomb. 'Members of the Minister's household escaped. Eighteen men Inter surrcii.lcr.cd to |he gendarmerie. They are suspected in he reservists who are cxlr-mne reactionaries. The Mitsubishi bank was also bombe I but none of the explosions was very serious. One policeman is in .a. critical condition, and all public offices are strongly guarded.
