PARIS, May 14
Thoughts are now turning on the question of the new French Ministiy. It is recognised that the r.eiv Chamber is so composed that it is doubtful if any Government is possible which will both represent the clearly-expressed wish of the electors and command a working majority, Therefore, arguments are lieinet advanced in favour of a concentration against the Cartel government.
M. Loon Bltun, in an article in the “Populnire ’ declares that neither tlie Socialist Party as a "'hole, nor the* different members thereof, "ill join anv concentration which include Al. 'liirdicii and his friends.* Nevertheless (here are many influences working lor him.
President Lebrun wants a concentration, as did the late President. Bonnier. The Senate, the business, the hanking and the stieculafive interest want it also, and likewise the newspapers with the big circulations.
