NOW TAKING EVIDENCE

CHRISTCHURCH, May 12
Having settled the preliminary difficulties regarding the order of reference and proceedure, the tramway strike tribunal began taking evidence this morning. No statements will be iss'ued until the tribunal has completed its investigations, and given its decision.
