CROSSING TRAGEDY
BUS DRIVER’S NEGLIGENCE

MASTERTON, May 9
A verdict that F. M. Gide'pie was killed through dislocation of the neck, received in a level! crossing accident, was returned by Coroner E. 0. Eton to-day at the inquest concerning the fatality, in which a train struck a. bus with a full load of passengers at ■Renal .Street crossing on April 9th.
The Coroner added that, according to the evidence, the driver of the bus did not see the train approach, which, to the mind of the court, was negligence.
