WEST COAST EXECUTIVE. At the weekly meeting at Greymouth last night a letter wag read from the N.Z.R.U. stating'that Messrs E. McKenzie '(Wairarapa) and A. McDonald (Otago) jhad been appointed selectors of the North 'lsland and South island teams respectively and also to select the New Zealand team, A further letter asked for the nomination’ lor the South Island team to reach Wellington not later than noon on May 28. It was resolved that it be left to the selectors to nominate any suitable players for the South Island team. The Westland ’Sub-Union asked for a definite instruction from the Union as to whether the three 'front row sciunimage should be adopted. It was decided to reply that the matter is only a recommendation, but a's all. Coast teams will be picked with this scrummage, and without a wing-for-ward, it is in the clubs’ interests to adopt the formation. Messrs A. A. Adams and I). R. Dowell were appointed joint selectors of the West Coast teams. Messrs F. W. Bailiie. W. Ingli-s and G. Jamieson were appointed junior selectors. Seven applications for re-admission to the code were recommended to the N.Z.R.U. for approval.
