WELLINGTON, May 3
Fra-ulein Breinhorn, the German aviatrix, who arrived at Port Darwin on March 22, after flying from Germany in a small aeroplane, arrived here to-day from Sydney by the steamer Maanganul. She was the guest this afternoon at a reception given by Mr Penseler, the German Consul. In an interview, she explained that flying, to her, was only a means of getting about. She was out to see the world, but chiefly her flight on this occasion was taken to escape the German whiter. She had commenced, on the passage fiom Sydney, to write ft book on this laist flight, because she knew that when she got to Germany, she would not get the 4 ime to do it there. She strongly advocates flying for women. She -says they handle ism.Vl machines just as well as men, and, in some cases, much better,
LADY CHAYTOR’S DENIAL. SYDNEY, May 3. Lady Chaytor and Pilot Richards have arrived at Sydney from MeL bourne. They were delayed by head winds, and will complete the flight to Sydney to-morrow. Lady Chaytor denies a report that she is lecturing to raise funds to put' Mitton Castle, Durham, in order.
