Then, when the police arrived, she shot one constable dead, through a glass door, saving that they hud no warrant.

Mrs Thompson then engaged with thirty police in a revolver battle for two hours till they smoked her out with tear gas bombs.

She emerged firing to right and let, and then finally fell dead to an officer’s bullet.
