The chemists. veterinarians, and the Federal officials have comr'etul their three weeks’ investigation as to the death of Pliar Lap. They have ascribed his death to colic. They reported that lead arsenate was found in the horse's vital organs. However, it was not possible to determine if til's had caused the -fatal abacs of acute indigestion. They e.ypiaincd that the quantity of lead arsenate was “very small,’' ,'md'icatitig a belief that the hoise mighi have survived if lie ".ere otherwise sound.
