Fremantle, Thursday-—\Y lien repudiation of the Irish oath was mentioned to the Archbishop of Sydney, J)r Kelly, who is travelling to Europe on the Neetor, his Grace said he d:d not desire to touch on political questions except in very general terms. “It is to be remembered that for eleven centuries there was a British policy to Anglicise Ireland.
“That, of course, cannot be laid at the door of the present generation. And this year we have a Eucharistic Conference being held in Dublin, something which was not thought of in former times. Let bygones be bygones.’’
