HITLER PARTY’S GAIN
EFFECT ON OTHER COUNTRIES.

Diplomatic circles in London attribute the Nazi success in the German State elections to a psychological plunder on the part of the German Government in suppressing the Nazi Storm Troops. This resulted in a •wave of popular enthusiasm in favour of Hitlerism as the Nazis are now being regarded as an association of super-patriots. Diplomats, however, consider that Herr Hitler’s best chance is to .forego a single-handed Nazi dictatorship in favour of a fair division of power with the Catholic Centre Party. The next month is likely to be spent in negotiations beween the Nazi and the Catholic Parties.
