WESTLAND COMPETITIONS

The 'Westland Competitions Society has now nad the fu.l programme for the annual festival prepared- The opening night ’will be Thursday, Alay •5, at the Princess Theatre. The Society is anxious for all the financial support it can receive and members’ tickets, £l, are now obtain-

able. These tickets admit the holder and family to all sessions, excepting the two demonstration concerts, for which however, there is prior and free hookings reserved for members. Family' tickets lor the public are available at 6s. and for adults only 4s. These tickets also admit to all sessions.

The charges for admission for the general public to-day sessions is one .shilling for eacih session, and for night sessions, front seats ! 2s and back scats Is. Children wll he admitted at half price to the day and evening sessions. Tickets are now on sale, and a good demand is hoped for to ensure the financial success of the festival.

The Committee of the Society will meet at the Soldiers’ Hall at 4 o’clock to-morrow afternoon, to make the final arrangements for the Competitions. ‘Supervisors will he selected to assist at the two halls during the sessions, and to make other arrangements. A lull attendance of the members is desired if possible.
