LONDON, April 20 The famous Crystal Palace in Sot

London, the centre of a district of a million and a hall people, is the .scene thisi year of another large exhibition, and New Zealand is well represented with an extensive and effective display of her produce. All the New Zealand produce boards are participants under the co-ordinating aegis of the High Commissioner’s Publicity Department. Samples of honey, butter and cheese are being sold, so that housewives may taste the quality of the New Zealand goods. The enterprise of the Dominion in regard to this display was the subject of special mention at the inaugural luncheon by tlio lit. Hon. Lord Rochester, Paymaster-General. Lord

Rochester, in proposing tlie health of the British Dominions, said that the exhibit by New Zealand undoubtedly deserved special mention. New Zealand, he said, was 99 per cent. British, and it was not surprising in so enterprising a country to find that she was the greatest supplier to Great Britain of dairy produce, mutton and lamb, and of honey, goods which were cwstributed widely throughout the British .Isles. This great trade, ho said, had only been made possible by refrigeration,,, and therefore the present display at the Crystal l’alaee would he particulars- interesting because tin's yeua- marked the jubilee of the first refrigerated cargo from New Zealand. (Loud applause). The Rt. Hon. J. H. Thomas replied to the toast, and gave his hearty ap proval of the remarks regarding me New Zealand display which had fallen from the lips of Lord Rochester,
