CALCUTTA, April 19
For participating in the recent rebellion two Burmans were sentenced to death, forty to life transportation, and it wo to five years’ hard labour each, by a special tribunal at I’roine. Isolated gangs of rebels continue to terrorise villages in several districts in Burma.
