Obituary. Dr. 11. T. Eerrar, of the \',-u Zealand Geological Survey. Eorrar, who was horn in Ireland, spent. hi.s early life in South Africa, ’i,. was geologist to Captain Scott’s first expedition to Antarctica, where In- spent over two years. In 19i)5 he was appoint-e-ri to the geological section ~f |he Survey Department in Egypt. Ai (he time of the outbreak of the Great- War he was Master ol Christ’s College. Christchurch atul joined the Expeditionary Force,s, serving in Egypt and Palestine.
