HOUSEHOLDERS MEET
G'REYUOXTTH school. ■ The election of the Committee at the Greynionth School resulted in last year's Committee being re-elected as follows:—Messrs R. 'A. Barrowmau, A. J. Fairmaid, G. Herring, H. Herring, J. C H. McDonald, A. V. Oliver, W. Scott, J. Tennent, R. J. Williams. The other candidates were Messrs G. Batty, A. Hopkinson, D. R. Gibbons, J. L. Patterson, E. F. Martin, J. H. Wright and S. G Shannan. AT ROSS. Very little interest was taken in the meeting of householders which was held 'last evening, less than a dozen being present. The balance sheet showed the year started 'with a debit balance of £4 11s od and finished wish a credit of £5 18s 7d. Only fire nominations were received for the new Committee who were duly elected to serve for the ensuing year, viz. 'Messrs FI. Osmers, P. Douglas, J. Holmes, J. Johnston and W. A. Smith. Mr Osmers was appointed Chairman and iA. W. Peebles secretary and treasurer, Meeting nights were set down for the 3rd Tuesday in each month at 7.30. .
