OATH REMOVAL EFFECT ON OTTAWA CONFERENCE i United Dress Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copy r iglit.) LONDON, April 7. ‘‘The Times” Dublin correspondent says: “Nobody can foresee the sequel of Premier Do Valera’s introduction of the Oath Removal Bill! If the Labour Party, n,s seems to be i likely, .'iipports the Bill, the Oath will be abolished by a dozen votes. The Free State Senate may refuse to throw out the Bill, because President De Valera if be were to be returned at- the new election, which probably would follow, would abolish the Senate. President De Valera seems to be confident tnat his treatment of the Oath will not affect- the Irish Free State’s reception at the Ottawa Conference, whence he - expects to return with valuable land preferences ” The correspondent adds: “It is said that President De Valera lias, a one Wav mind. Apparently, olio way minds can persuade themselves that they call have things both ways.”
