AGAINST FURTHER WAGE CUTS, i Ry Telegraph, Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. April 18. A meeting of the raihvaymen was held at Otalmhu at mid-dav to-day. The men passed the following resolution : “That this mass meeting of the Otalmhu Railway Employers sails upon the Central Committee to take a ballot throughout the Public Service in order to ascertain the feeling of the members regarding a National Strike in the event of the Government carrying out their proposed legislation to reduce the wages of civil servants. The foregoing resolution is to be forwarded to the Secretary of the Central Executive.
