MAN DROWNED
WHEN BOAT OVERTURNS. THREE OTHER MEN RESCUED. /ill Telegraph —Per Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 18. A member of the crew of the cable ship, Recorder, J. lyrrel, was (V'owlied when the ship’s whaleboat overturned ill the surf' off Muriwai Reach yesterday morning Three others were rescued. Afterwards, an aeroplane from Auckland was used in tin effort to get the line to the ship, and this also was unsuccessful, hut further efforts will he made to-day.
