MOTOR LORRY BURNT.
On Saturday evening a motor truck owned by Mr Kortegast of Hokitika was destroyed by fire at Mitenelis lull below the Mikonui.
Air Harry Kortegast who was driving was returning from Harihnri after delivering a load of cordials and had j us t started to descend the hill when back firing occurred, the lorry was immediately in flames and was totally destroyed.
It is understood there is an insurance cover on the truck.

The “Originals” vaudeville entertainers showed to a good hou ? e at the Totara Hall on Saturday evening.. The .show was a bright and enjoyable one and thoroughly enjoyed by all pre,e„L.
