The “Telegraph” says that ishould the Federal Government be forced to attach the unemployment relief taxation, the unemployed will not Jose any of their present benefits. It is reported that in such case, the Federal Government" will administer the issuing of the dole, and pay widows’ pensions.
Federal plans put an end to Mr Lang’s obstructionist tactics which are under way. The Federal Government insist on the complete carrying out of the provisions of the Garni shoe Act.
JURORS GO UNPAID

Jurors went unpaid at the Court •sitting at Goulburn and Maitland, since there is no money available.

It is expected that the present financial year in Australia will have a favourable trade balance of not less than £3G,000,000, which is £8,000,000 more than the annual interest committments of Australia abroad. Statistics show that for the eight months ended February 29th. , exports from the Commonwealth exceeded the import® by £22,000,000.
