Signor Gra.ndi at the .Disarmament Conference, associating himself with Mr Gibson’s proposal, sweepingly proposed the immediate abolition of chemical and bacteriological warfare, the abolition of battleships, aeroplane carriers, and submarines by yearly percentages, in accordance with the minibe: - of years fixed for their abolition ; also the abolition of bombing planes and heavy artillery, by a progressive diminution beginning with the heaviest guns.
