FATE OF HOGAN MINISTRY. (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, April 13. Sir Stanley Argyle, Leader of the Oppositon, launched a no-confidence motion in the Legislative Assembly today. It is likely that the Hogan Ministry will be defeated by a narrow margin and resign. ; Mr Tunned ill'c is actiug-Premior in the absence of Mr Hogan, who is enmute to England for health reasons.
LANG’S ENTHUSIASTIC SEND-OFF. TO PREMIERS’ CONFERENCE. SYDNEY, April 13. Five thousand unionists, friends, and admirers gave Air Lang a rousing send oil' to-night, on his Melbourne trip, and showered him with conetti. They also booted Mr Moore. Premier of Queensland, on route to the conference bv the same train. Replying to Air Lang's broadcast of last night, the Prime .Minister to-day declared thorp was not the slightest truth that Great Britain was sidestepping her debts to other nations.
