PRICES AT WELLINGTON.

WELLINGTON, April 11

The final wool sale of the season bewail at the Town Hall'this morning under /disappointing conditions/. n. total catalogue of 13,800 bales were submitted, the first catalogue jttittg of 2640 bales, and the second of 2644. Continental competition was practically absent, and ,Bradford was almost the sole buyer, but under restricted limits. Passings were exceedingly ijroqlient ; , but the quality of the wool offered however, was not generally as satisfactory as usual at this time of the year. Average and low style crossbreds were fully a half-penny cheaper than in March. There were some especially rough lots which, in gome instances, failed to elicit a bid. Offerings of half-bred were small but these were a farthing to a half-penny lower than at the last sale.

The low prices realised so far evidefitly foreshadow the state of the crossbred market lit London sales opening to-morrow. Typical prices, not average, were: Three-quarters, 3d to 3fd, half-bred 4Ji to o|d, medium crossbred 3d to 4 id, Romney 3d to 4d, pieces Id to 2d, locks to Id.

The average price of the; wool so far is in the vicinity of to 4d per pound. SupeErivßomney wool is showing style ;up to last sale rates.
