DOLE BREAD
NEW N.-S.W. CONTRACT

SYDNEY, April 9,
The New South Wales Government has concluded a new contract with the Master Bakers to supply the dole bread Ot 4s fid per dozen loaves. This is an increase of three pence on tho rate fixed by Mr Justice Piddington. The whole State is affected, and as the dole bread is obtainable only from the contractors, many of the small shops that have hitherto been handling it, as well as small bakeries, are likely to ho forced out of business.
